I see the same thing just in a mixed up
way happening for Daenerys as what happened to Rand al’Thor in TWOT. The character of Rand has been divided
between both Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen in ASOIAF. If you have been keeping up with my theory
you already know this so I am just focusing on Dany right now. In TWOT Rand goes to Rhuidean which is
equivalent to the Mother of Mountains.
There Rand learns the truth of the Aiel people which is they are all
oath breakers in that they had been the Da’shain Aiel in the past and followed
the Way of the Leaf. The Way of the Leaf is a philosophy that will
not allow the follower to raise a hand to one’s enemies even to defend
themselves. Those who follow this code
will run from an enemy at all cost with no regard that it makes them look like
a coward. The Tuatha’an people follow
this code and are despised by the Aiel people.
Only Clan Chiefs and Wise Ones who go to Rhuidean learn the truth of who
they were as a people. That truth is
kept hidden form the Aiel. The Prophecy of Rhuidean, the Aiel Prophecy, tells of the coming of the car'a'carn, the chief of chiefs, and He Who Comes
With The Dawn. Rand meets
that prophecy by returning from Rhuidean at dawn. After returning from Rhuidean Rand calls for
a meeting of all the clan chiefs which is held at Alcair Dal. Pressed for time Rand can’t wait for all the
clans to arrive so he begins with 5 of the 12 clans in attendance. There he is challenged by Couladin. Rand eventually reveals to all the Aiel in
attendance of their heritage which in essence breaks them according to the
prophecy.

“It
was Bair who spoke. “Everyone thinks they know the Prophecy of Rhuidean, but what
they know is what Wise Ones and clan chiefs have told them for generations. Not
lies, but not the whole truth. The truth might break the strongest man.”
Wise Ones Amys - Bair - Melaine |
“What is the whole truth?” Rand
insisted.”
“She
glanced at Mat, then said, “In this case, the whole truth, the truth known only
to Wise Ones and clan chiefs before this, is that you are our doom. Our doom,
and our salvation. Without you, no one of our people will live beyond the Last Battle. Perhaps not even until the Last Battle. That is prophecy, and truth.
With you... 'He
shall spill out the blood of those who call themselves Aiel as water on sand,
and he shall break them as dried twigs, yet the remnant of a remnant shall he
save, and they shall live.' A hard prophecy, but this has never been
a gentle land.” She met his gaze without flinching. A hard land, and a hard
woman.”
So how does this relate to ASOIAF. First the Rand went to Rhuidean to learn his
truth. In the TV show the meeting of all
the khal's has already been called but it wasn’t by Dany. It also seems that Dany may be in a little
trouble but is she really?
Dany has already received her truth for
this situation and it was given to her in the House of the Undying.
“Beneath the Mother of Mountains, a line of naked
crones crept from a great lake and knelt shivering before her, their grey heads
bowed”
She has already seen that these women
who seek to pass judgment on her will be hers as she has seen it. It’s not hard to see that Drogon will have
something to say about the gathering Khal’s passing a sentence upon Dany. I don’t really think that Rand breaking the
Aiel will play out in ASOIAF but they had to throw in something that was a
homage to it and I believe that this is it:
“Ser Jorah said the people of this country named themselves the Lhazareen, but the
Dothraki called them haesh rakhi, the Lamb Men. Once Dany might have taken them for Dothraki,
for they had the same copper skin and almond-shaped eyes. Now they
looked alien to her, squat and flat-faced, their black hair cropped unnaturally
short. They were herders of sheep and eaters of vegetables, and Khal Drogo said
they belonged south of the river bend. The grass of the Dothraki sea was not
meant for sheep.”
Remember he broke them by telling them
they were once people that they currently despise. Dothraki despise the Lamb Men but I don’t
think it will go further than a simple comparison. I believe the truth that will in essence break the Dothraki is the fact that a woman will lead the Dothraki people.
So what about the Prophecy of Rhuidean
and how does it play out in ASOIAF?
Remember Rand is called “He Who Comes With The Dawn” because he went to
Rhuidean and returned at dawn. Have we
seen anything in ASOIAF that would relate to this? Yes.
“Khaleesi,”
Cohollo said to her, in Dothraki. “Drogo, who is blood of my blood, commands me to tell you
that he must ascend the Mother of Mountains this night, to sacrifice to the
gods for his safe return.”
Only men were allowed to set
foot on the Mother, Dany knew. The khal’s bloodriders would go with him, and
return at dawn.
Drogo and his bloodriders |
So this tells me that Dany will also ascend
the Mother of Mountains. Either the Khal’s
will have bent the knee or will have been eliminated. Dany herself will return at dawn and be the Rand equivalent of "He Who Comes With The Dawn" and become “She Who Comes With The Dawn.” She will rise
to become the most powerful khal ever seen.
The Stallion Who Mounts the World is a prophecy in the Dothraki
religion. According to the prophecy, the Stallion is the "khal of khals" who will
unite all the Dothraki under his single khalasar and ride to the ends of the
earth. The prophecy states that "he will be the khal of khals, and all the
people of the world will be his herd."
While on the Mother of Mountains I believe she will also receive 3 gifts, in the books not sure about the TV show, but you can read that in my article entitled “Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion
Lannister; the ties that bind”.

since I present my idea's as "fact like" I'm not open to change my
